Submit your application at Service Tasmania with your:

We send you a letter advising either:

Enrol in the relevant TasTAFE Firearms Safety Training Course within six (6) months from the date of your letter.

The Certificate of Competency will be sent to Firearms Services by TasTAFE.

Note: Failure to complete the training within the six (6) month period, will see your application withdrawn.

If you have satisfied all the requirements for your Firearms Licence application, you will receive a Verification Letter by post.

If you have not satisfied all the requirements for your Firearms Licence application, you will receive a request for further information.

Note: Failure to comply with the additional request for information, may see your application withdrawn.

The photographic licence will then be printed and sent to you in due course.
